Spot yourself in the crowd as 6,500 join Cancer Research Race for Life in Glasgow

Thousands of Glaswegians took to the streets today to take part in the Race for Life, raising vital funds for Cancer Research UK.

The annual 5K and 10K launched at Glasgow Green and saw men, women and children fight back against cancer and raise funds for the charity.

The money raised will be put towards helping scientists find new ways to prevent, diagnose and treat the disease, helping save more lives.

Due to the generosity of its supporters, the charity was able to spend around £38 million last year in Scotland on some of the UK’s leading scientific and clinical research.

We've compiled some of the best pictures from the day, so you might be able to spot yourself!

From all of us at Glasgow Live , a massive well done to everyone who took part in today's race for a very worthy cause.
