Steve Bruce hit out at Miguel Almiron’s agent after his comments about the Newcastle United man’s future.
Daniel Campos claimed his client would have left Newcastle had it not been for the coronavirus pandemic.
Bruce was holding his pre-Chelsea press conference today (Friday) and addressed the comments – slamming them as “amateur” and “outrageous”.
"The agent is an amateur who is looking to make a fast buck,” he said. “I couldn't miss them because they were that outrageous.
"It's a two bob agent and it was amateurish It's hugely disrespectful to his client.
"Had it been Miguel Almiron coming to see me that is different."
While fans remain split in their opinion on Bruce and the job being done at Newcastle, a number were in agreement over his comments on Campos.
