What a sensational end to the W-League round. Three goals in the final eight minutes in 10-woman Canberra saw Perth stage a miraculous comeback, from 4-1 down to draw 4-4. Simply amazing. Spare a thought for poor Rachel Corsie though, who netted that final own goal.
That’s all for from us for now. See you next time.

Full time: Canberra 4-4 Perth: Incredible! No, you’re not seeing things! An unbelievable finish to the game sees Perth pull one back with three minutes remaining before somehow finding an equaliser in injury time! Amazing scenes in Canberra!
A thrilling finish to a high-scoring match, McKenna’s left-footed shot from outside the box flew into the top left corner to pull a goal back for Perth. But it wasn’t over then, no, and the miracle last-minute comeback continued when Sam Kerr’s cross was deflected into her own net by Canberra’s Corsie – the second own goal from Canberra today!
The crowd is in genuine shock over what they have just witnessed. United were leading 4-1 but it all turned on its head inside 10 minutes at the end – with just 10 players on the pitch too! It should have been over, but credit to Perth for never giving up.
Glory’s rally will leave Canberra asking themselves some hard questions about how they let that impressive lead disappear.

Goal! Canberra 4-2 Perth - 82 mins: Finally, some good news for Perth, with Mautz’s left-footed shot finding the bottom left corner, with some help from Kerr who delivered the ball in. It gives the visitors a much-needed lift, especially after they started this half with much more focus and control, but until now, hadn’t been able to convert that into goals. It won’t change the game’s outcome, though.

First off, though, let’s look at what to expect from the Perth v Canberra game, which sees the return of superstar Sam Kerr. Kerr, who is the first-ever woman marquee player in the W-League, may be just what Glory need, as they chase their first win of the season.
They’ll also chasing just their second win against United – ever. Glory have only won once in their 17 matches since the W-League was established.
Kerr won’t be the only star attraction on ground, with United’s US import Rachel Hill booting nine goals to the Australian’s 13 last season.
During their last match, Kerr scored three in the first half, even though the teams drew at 4-4.
Although Glory won the premiership two years ago, their form has waived recently and they’ll be looking to score a win to set the start of their season in good shape.
For United, they go into this game with a win on their shoulders, after they took down reigning W-League champions Melbourne City 2-1 in round one. South African duo Rhoda Mulaudzi and Refiloe Jane only made their W-League debut last week, but they showed the league that were were a serious asset to United.
Expect good things from them again today. Also new to the squad is Irish international midfielder Denise O’Sullivan, who, at just 24 years of age, has played more than 60 games for her home country.
The Western Sydney and Brisbane Roar clash also has a lot at stake for both sides. Wanderers will be feeling wounded from their 3-0 defeat to arch rivals Sydney FC in round one, while Brisbane will bring the confidence of a round one win with them.
Sydney will, of course, have the home-ground advantage, and they bring into the squad three of the team’s younger players this week - Rachel Lowe, Suzi Phonsongkhan and Courtney Nevin.
