The Nike store in East Kilbride's Kingsgate retail park is re-opening today - and sports lovers are being encouraged to book a slot to avoid queues.
Stores closed during lockdown although re-opened when they were allowed to do so and Nike took to social media to announce its EK Unite store would welcome customers this morning after undergoing a refurbishment, it is understood.
They posted: "Nike is back and kickin'. Unite East Kilbride store will be reopening on Monday, November 16 at 10am. Can't wait? Book a visit slot and beat the queues!"
However, with the Central Belt continuing to brace itself to move to Tier 4 possibly this week, some shoppers fear it may be forced to shut its doors again.
One posted: "Just seen it ..all must have been getting refurbished."
But another wrote: "We are going this Wednesday... just hoping the opening all goes ahead."
And one shopper feared the worst: "Sadly, think shop will close on Friday."
