Golf courses and tennis clubs across Ireland are getting ready to open for the first time in almost two months next week.
Clubs are putting finishing touches to the fairways, putting pins on the greens and setting up the nets in the courts ahead of Monday's scheduled reopening.
Under the government's five stage plan for reopening Ireland and easing Covid-19 restrictions, non contact sports where social distancing can be maintained can return for leisure.
Small groups of four can hit the fairways or serve up once again as clubs put procedures in place for the safe return of the sports.
But it's set to be a while longer before any degree of competitive football, GAA or Rugby will return in Ireland.
Partial contact sports are penned to return from July 20, while full contact action such as rugby and boxing will have to wait until at least August 10.
