In April last year, following the Daily Sport's £1m so-called relaunch by Sport Media Group, I wrote: "My hunch is that the Sport will soon be history."
Today's news, that the group's share price has plummeted after breaking one of its banking covenants, suggests it has moved closer to the dustbin of media history. In January last year the paper was selling 101,000. By November, it was down to 78,000, a 22% decrease. So much for the relaunch.
