The parade is being performed by Walk the Plank - the creative minds behind the city's Manchester Day parade.

The monsters come as part of the Halloween In The City event (PA)

The parade promises a 'crazy procession of monster puppets, stilt walkers, and five-piece band' - and spectators are encouraged to bring a welcome banner to ring in this year's visiting monsters.

The procession starts inside the Arndale at Halle Place before going to Wintergarden, Exchange Court and then outside to Market Street.

The parade features a large-scale puppets and stilt walkers, alongside a five-piece band (PA)
