Spooky Halloween event set to take place in Rutherglen this weekend

A spooky Halloween event will be taking in Rutherglen this weekend.

Overtoun Park will be home to ghosts, ghosts, witches and all sorts of creatures on Saturday.

The Spooky Park event is being run by the Friends of Overtoun Park group.

Among the creepy fun will be dooking for apples, a Halloween picture hunt, a spooky walk and a spooky tent.

There will be a pumpkin carving competition for both children and adults and a fancy dress competition for children as well.

All children must be accompanied by an adult, and should bring a torch.

The spook-tastic fun will last from 4pm until 6pm, with the fancy dress contest judged at 5.30pm.

All are welcome.
