Emirates Air Line is the UK’s first urban cable car and provides a sustainable new river crossing for east London.
Connecting the Royal Docks (ExCel and The Crystal) to the Greenwich Peninsula (for The O2) by the most direct route, it gives breathtaking views over the river, and is also an important catalyst for regeneration in both areas.
Emirates Air Line is an integrated part of the transport network, a short walk from the Jubilee Line (North Greenwich), Thames Clippers river services (North Greenwich Pier) and the DLR (Royal Victoria).
