Spinetingling video from Manchester United end captures mayhem as Solskjaer scores 1999 Champions League-winning goal in Barcelona

It is 21 years today since one of the greatest moments in the modern history of Manchester United, where a dramatic comeback victory against Bayern Munich saw the Reds clinch the Champions League and the treble.

With Premier League and FA Cup glory already in the bag, United travelled to Barcelona looking to become the first side in English football to complete a clean sweep of the major honours - a feat that is still yet to be matched.

However, things didn't quite look like they were going to plan as the Germans took an early lead - with United looking down and out heading into the dying moments of the match.

What followed was one of the greatest comebacks in the history of European competition, with Teddy Sheringham and substitute Ole Gunnar Solskjaer both netting in injury time.

You can re-experience the dramatic final moments in the spinetingling fan footage (above) filmed in the United end at the Camp Nou - which has seemingly gone largely under the radar so far.

It begins just after Sheringham's equaliser and continues to capture Solskjaer's winner, the resulting mayhem among the 50,000 Reds in the stands, the final whistle and the scenes on the pitch of celebrating United stars and devastated Bayern players.

The victory was United's first European Cup in 30 years and is fondly remembered by fans, representing one of the greatest achievements in Sir Alex Ferguson's long and fruitful career at Old Trafford.

Over two decades on, and with fans currently unable to watch live football in England, today's anniversary will bring back plenty of glorious memories for supporters.
