The Pfleger file…

It’s a call to arms!

But not with guns!

And Academy Award-winning director Spike “Chi-Raq”/”BlacKkKlansman” Lee is hoping to bring his megaphone to a rally in Washington, D.C., urging stricter gun laws organized by his close friend, South Side peace priest Michael Pfleger.

Pfleger, who along with Mayor Lori Lightfoot took aim recently at Texas Sen. Ted Cruz for tweeting “Gun control doesn’t work. Look at Chicago. Disarming law-abiding citizens isn’t the answer.”

The activist priest, pastor of St. Sabina, tells Sneed nearly 30 powerful organizations, including Amnesty International USA, is supporting the event set for Sept. 25 in front of the Capitol building.

Rev. Michael Pfleger has arranged an anti-gun march for Sept. 25 in Washington, D.C.

“I know we are in the middle of a presidential election and YES there is global warming ... BUT the reality is it does not matter what the temperature is when you are DEAD.

“All we seem to care about is the right to bear arms,” Pfleger said.

“Well, unless you are ALIVE, there are no arms to bear!

“It is time for Americans to have their first right, their right to live!

“Because of the quantity of everyday shooting in Chicago and mass shootings in America, we are becoming normalized to death by guns.

“If that happens, America will have lost her soul.”

Amen.
