Spider-Man star Tom Holland has split from childhood sweetheart Olivia Bolton, according to sources.
The 23-year-old Marvel superhero star and his friend-turned-girlfriend were first spotted looking close last summer - but the romance has come to an end after they realised the spark wasn’t there.
Hollywood hunk Tom and blonde beauty Olivia were childhood friends before falling for each other in 2019 - with the pair being spied out together las July after months of secret dating.
The duo are said to be keeping things pleasant now that the romance has come to an end - which might be for the best as it has been reported their families have been close for a while.
“Tom and Olivia remain very close but decided recently it was best for them to be just friends rather than a couple,” a source told The Sun on Sunday.
“It was all very amicable and they both think it is for the best,” the source added.
Tom and Olivia had received the blessing of their respective families when they first started dating.
“All their friends and family think they make a lovely couple… He is totally smitten,” a source explained when they were first linked last summer.
While the relationship making headlines was said to be a “massive relief” for Tom - but now it is all over.
The split certainly appears amicable - as Tom still follows Olivia on Instagram.
