The star of the new Spider-Man film has revealed he is a huge Gerry Cinnamon fan in a Hollywood interview.
The Glasgow singer got a shoutout from Tom Holland when asked what his favourite song was when he was promoting the new Marvel blockbuster.
The English actor made the bombshell remark in front of Emmy award-winning, fashion icon and all-around superstar Zendaya and fellow actor Jacob Batalon, who plays Peter Parker’s best friend Ned in the new film.
The actor, who grew up just outside London, said on the WIRED ‘The web’s most searched questions’ interview that he has been enjoying 'Sometimes' by Gerry and described it as his ‘favourite’ song.
He explained to co-stars Zendaya and Jacob Batalon: “I like Sometimes by Gerry Cinnamon.
“He’s a Scottish guy and he sings these absolute belters. He has a song called Belter, it’s glorious.”
American Zendaya is clearly unaware of the Cinnamon effect and simply responded “how cute!”, according to Glasgow Live.
