Spider-Man star Tom Holland outs himself as a massive Gerry Cinnamon fan in interview

We never cease to be amazed at the reach Glasgow talent has, but every once in a while something comes along that blows our mind.

Whether it's Lewis Capaldi (!!) at the Grammy's or James McAvoy becoming one of the biggest names in Hollywood, Glaswegians are popping up all over the place.

But we weren't prepared for the name Gerry Cinnamon being mentioned in front of Emmy-award, fashion icon and all-around superstar Zendaya by the most English of men, Tom Holland.

But alas, it's 2021 and anything can happen and the above actually did.

The pair were promoting their new movie Spider-Man: No Way Home when Tom dropped the bomb that he is a massive Gerry Cinnamon fan.

The actor, who grew up just outside London, said on the WIRED 'The web's most searched questions' interview that he has been bumping Sometimes by Gerry and described it as his 'favourite' song.

He explained to co-stars Zendaya and Jacob Batalon: "I like Sometimes by Gerry Cinnamon.

"He's a Scottish guy and he sings these absolute belters. He has a song called Belter, it's glorious."

American Zendaya is clearly unaware of the Cinnamon effect and simply responds "how cute!"

When two worlds (or three if you include Marvel universe) collide. We love to see it.
