Spider-Man: No Way Home tickets selling for £15,000 on eBay as movie sells out

Spider-Man: No Way Home is set to hit our cinema screens soon - but already tickets are selling online for a little over the retail price.

MCU fans were quick to buy tickets - which only went on sale yesterday (November 29) - and yet already people are wanting to profit from the popular series.

Screenings begin at 10am on the day of release, December 15, but midnight screenings could still arrive later on down the line with the movie boasting a run time of 148 minutes.

On the day of the ticket release, the official Spider-Man account took to Instagram with a post, however it wasn't long before the replies about ticket sales came flooding in.

Unsurprisingly, no bids have been placed on the £15k ticket. (eBay)

One said: "Crazy because ALL SITES ARE DOWN."

Another added: "My site crashed. Y'all broke the internet."

A third commented: "Everything’s crashed bro" whilst a fourth added: "Every single website is down. All sold out."

With tickets difficult to buy in some cities, eBay is now full of them with prices ranging from 50p (plus postage) to a staggering £15,000.

It's not just happening in the UK - it's also happening in America with tickets selling between $600 to $25,000 with one tweeting: "They selling spider man multiverse tickets for $25k on ebay yall are DRUNK?"

The film will feature familiar faces with some reprising their roles including Tom Holland, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Jamie Foxx, Benedict Cumberbatch, Marisa Tomei, Willem Dafoe and Alfred Molina.

Spider-Man No Way Home hits cinemas on December 15.
