'Spider-Man' joins delighted Glasgow boy for the whole of his birthday

'Spider-Man' took time away from fighting crime on the streets of New York City during the festive period to web his way over to Glasgow to celebrate a special someone's birthday.

The superhero gave young Aadi Chavan a fourth birthday to remember by taking him on as his new sidekick and spending the full day by his side.

He used his superhuman strength to help Aadi blow out the candles on his big birthday cake and also channelled his 'spider-sense' to ward off any potential dangers (such as hungry radioactive spiders) as he accompanied the wee one to nursery on the city streets.

A delighted Aadi was dressed for the occasion in his own Spider-Man suit, taking his bike with him as back-up in case our web-shooting hero tripped over his laces or got a side stitch while chasing after any baddies who happened to cross their path.

And Aadi's classmates at his nursery were equally awestruck by Spider-Man's unexpected visit to the city and posed for photos with him at the nursery too.

Aadi's dad Abhijeet was the one who dressed up as the superhero for the occasion to give his son the perfect birthday present - with young Aadi none the wiser.

Hope you had a great day Aadi!
