Spider-Man: Far From Home has climbed its way to the Number 1 spot on this week’s Official Film Chart.
In his fourth week on chart, Spider-Man finally takes home the trophy, snatching the Number 1 spot ahead of a big new entry from Disney.
Spider-Man: Far From Home, which stars Tom Holland, Samuel L. Jackson and Jake Gyllenhaal, also claims the week’s biggest sales on DVD and Blu-ray release.
With its digital release and digital sales winner of the week is new entry, Disney’s The Lion King at number 2.
The remake is of the 90s animated classic is set in the African savannah where a future king is born and stars Donald Glover and Beyoncé.

With 110,000 digital sales, The Lion King was downloaded more times in its opening seven days than the rest of this week’s Top 40 combined, the Official Charts Company confirms.
Meanwhile, Toy Story 4 falls to Number 3, while Danny Boyle rom-com Yesterday falls two places to Number 4, despite Paul McCartney's Glastonbury announcement.
Aladdin is still strong at Number 5, with Elton John biopic, Rocketman, falling down to 6.
Climbing up again Avengers: Endgame, up one place to 7, but there are falls for The Secret Life of Pets 2 (8) and Men in Black: International (3).
And finally, Christmas has arrived early as Benedict Cumberbatch’s The Grinch film makes it back into the Top 10 in time for the festive season (10).
