Spice Girls tour earnings: Iconic girl band 'set to earn £2.2million each for reunion'

The Spice Girls reportedly look set to make £2.2million each from their six-day tour next spring.

Mel B, Mel C, Emma Bunton and Geri Horner this week announced they are set to spice up their lives - minus Victoria Beckham - and reunite for a UK tour in June .

TMZ has claimed the foursome will rake in around £418,000 per show.

The girls will be joined on tour by Hold My Hand singer Jess Glynne, who has described her supporting act as a “little girl’s dream come true”.

The stars turned broadcasters as they transformed into their Spice Girl alter egos Baby, Ginger, Sporty and Scary before breaking into an a capella rendition of Spice Up Your Life to break the reunion news.

Spice Girls announce reunion tour

The summer stadium tour will kick off on June 1 at Manchester's Etihad Stadium before heading to Coventry's Ricoh Arena, Sunderland's Stadium of Light, Edinburgh's BT Murrayfield Stadium and Bristol's Ashton Gate Stadium.

They will wrap up at London's Wembley Stadium on June 15, 21 years after they played the iconic venue as part of their Spice World tour.

The Spice Girls last hit the road in 2008 for The Return of the Spice Girls world tour which saw them perform their biggest hits across the US, UK and Europe.

They last performed together at the closing ceremony of the London 2012 Olympic Games months after launching Spice Girls musical, Viva Forever.

The performance saw them belting out their biggest hits including If You Wanna Be My Lover and Spice Up Your Life atop black taxis.

Tickets go on sale on Saturday morning at 10:30am.
