Emma Bunton and Geri Horner are expected to arrive in at some point today for the opening concert of their world tour.

Mel Brown, Scary Spice, posted a selfie on Instagram on Tuesday of her and Mel Chrisholm, Sporty Spice, as they arrived at Heathrow Airport in London.

She said: “Me and @melaniecmusic have arrived just now at the airport in proper “spice girl sprit” I even had a sleep over at sportys last night yipppee we are soooo on time it’s killing me.”

The girls are expected to be staying at the Intercontinental Hotel in Ballsbridge.

Over 75,000 fans are expected at the concert in Croke Park on Friday for the girls’ first Irish gig in 21 years.

Around 15,000 of those fans are expected to come from abroad and the concert is expected to generate €40 million.

The Spice Girls are the first female group to headline the stadium.

The tour spans over 13 shows kicking off in Dublin and ending in London’s Wembley Stadium.

Jess Glynne is lined up as the support act and the concert starts at 8.15pm.

This is the first time the girls have performed together since the Olympics in 2012.

Victoria Beckham has decided not to take part in the Spice World Tour 2019.
