Spice Girls deny reunion world tour plans are scrapped as they count down to Cardiff gig

The Spice Girls have denied reports that they've scrapped plans for their world tour , with their representatives slamming the claims as "inaccurate and factually untrue".

The UK tour starts at the Principality stadium in Cardiff on Monday, May 27 but after Mel B made revelations and her relationship with bandmate Geri Horner, it was feared that plans for a world tour could be scrapped.

The Mail On Sunday  reported that the group had been thrown into turmoil after Mel B, 43, revealed she had a lesbian fling with Geri, 46, in the '90s – something which Ginger Spice denies.

The publication went on to add that the girls had decided to honour their British gigs but pulled the plug on plans for any international concerts once the UK tour ends on June 15.

However, a rep for the girl group said: "This story is inaccurate and factually untrue."

Mel made the shock revelation as she spoke to Piers Morgan for his new Life Stories series.

She nodded after Good Morning Britain's Piers asked: "Did you sleep with Geri?

"She is going to hate me for this because she is all posh in a country house but it wasn't a 'thing', it just happened, we just giggled at it and that was it," she confessed.

"We were best friends. It just happened."

Piers gasped: "This is a Spice Girls bombshell. You have never admitted this before, have you? People are going to be fascinated."

Mel answered: "Yeah and I've said it now. She is going to kill me and so is her husband."
