Spice Girls aren't as rich as they used to be - as members plan ANOTHER tour

They may have just said Goodbye.

But the Spice Girls will be hoping to say hello to some cash after the curtain fell on their reunion tour.

I can reveal that the band’s company funds dwindled to just £86,000 before their recent concerts. Given that at their Nineties peak, the band’s firm was turning over more than £40million a year, that’s a pretty big drop.

Latest accounts show that Spice Girls Ltd had assets of £135,450 with around £50,000 of debts
yet to be paid.

So the group, minus Victoria Beckham, will hope that their 13-date tour, which ended last week, turns their fortunes around – as most of them have been hit by money worries.

In her book Brutally Honest last year, Melanie Brown – Scary Spice Mel B – claimed that she left her second marriage in 2017 with just £800 and a suitcase of clothes.

Last month it was revealed that separate firms set up by Mel B and Geri Horner to handle their earnings were struggling.

Geri’s Wonderful Productions made just £3,400, while Mel B’s Moneyspider Productions Limited gained only £13,300 in the year to August 2018.

Melanie Chisholm – Mel C – also agreed to the reunion after her firm Red Girl Records went £850,000 into debt.

But Emma Bunton’s Monsta Productions bucked the trend, with reserves doubling to just under £1m in the same year.

The girls are now understood to be lining up a series of mega-gigs in Europe, the USA and Asia – again without Victoria, who also has a stake in Spice Girls Ltd.

Her fashion firm is struggling – last year making an operating loss of £10.2m.

The Spice Girls tour came to an end last week with Adele and Emma Stone among fans at the Wembley shows – both were seen partying with the band afterwards.
