Spice Girls and Jess Glynne party in Newcastle after Sunderland concert

They might have been performing down the road in Sunderland, but it was Newcastle that Spice Girls and support act Jess Glynne headed to to party after the show.

Thousands of Spice Girls fans flocked to the Stadium of Light to see Emma, Geri, Mel B and Mel C on their Spice World tour and they didn't disappoint with a concert packed full of their classic hits -  starting with Spice Up Your Life and ending with Wannabe.

It was chart-topping singer Jess' job to get the expectant Sunderland crowd warmed up and she did just that with a set that included Hold My Hand, Thursday and All I Am.

So both Jess and Spice Girls throughly earned a night on the town and they arrived in Newcastle in the early hours to party at Livello, as you can see from the picture below of Jess, Emma and Mel B in the bar.

On Thursday, Melanie C uploaded a video to her Instagram of her doing a workout in the gym at Seaham Hall, with the County Durham hotel and spa proving a popular destination for a number of big acts in the past including Take That and One Direction.

The next destination for the Spice Girls' Spice World tour is Edinburgh.
