Spice Girl Mel C sends message to Dublin fans ahead of Croke Park concert

Spice Girl Mel C has told Dublin fans she "can't wait to see you all" ahead of tomorrow's sold-out Croke Park show.

The 90s superstars kick off their world tour in the capital tomorrow.

This will be the group's first Irish show in 21 years and Sporty Spice took to Twitter to say how excited she was about tomorrow's gig.

Sharing a photo of a photo shoot from the band's early days, she said: "This was one of the first shoots we ever did, all those years ago!

"Tomorrow we open S piceworld2019 in front of 80,000 people in Dublin I cannot wait to see you all!! I’m so excited!!"

Doors for tomorrow night's massive show open at 6pm and there is no overnight or early queuing allowed prior to gates opening.

Rather Be hitmaker Jess Glynne will be supporting the Wannabe hitmakers on the night.

Fans have been urged to allow at least an extra two hours’ travel time to and from the venue.

Concert goers have been advised to plan the route in advance and check the AA Roadwatch website for traffic reports.

Traffic and parking delays are inevitable so using public transport (bus, DART, Luas) is strongly advised.

There are no parking facilities locally so those driving to the concert will have to use city centre car parks and carpool.
