Alexander Ceferin has confirmed that UEFA will not stand in the way of Celtic being crowned Scottish champions on Monday.
The SPFL will meet to officially bring an end to the 2019/20 campaign, crowning Neil Lennon 's side for a ninth season in a row.
The decision will also see Hearts relegated, barring an unlikely 11th hour agreement on reconstruction.
Any decision has to be ratified by UEFA, as SPFL bosses will have to inform the governing body of which teams will enter the Champions League and Europa League.
But that won't be a fly in the ointment as the organisation's president confirms they will not stand in the way.
Ceferin told beIN Sports: "I think the majority of leagues will finish the season. The ones who will not, it’s their decision.
"But they will still have to play qualifiers if they want to participate in the European UEFA competition.
"The national leagues are a separate thing and they will decide separately how they want to proceed. But as I said before, I think at least 80 per cent will finish the season.
"The important thing is we know who the champions are, who is second, who is third and fourth.
"My personal opinion is that when you cancel a season so early, it’s not ideal because things can improve a lot. Everybody can play except a few leagues. But if it’s the government’s decision, what can the clubs do? Or the league? They cannot do anything."
