SPFL in fixture blunder as they announce last season's post-split games

The SPFL suffered a Twitter blunder today after they announced fixtures for the last campaign.

Fans slaughtering league chiefs when they failed to release THIS season’s post-split games.

The governing body had announced on Thursday that they 'hoped' to get the post-split Premiership games announced on Friday.

They did manage to release them – but not until after they had initially posted the wrong games on social media.

In a tweet that said: "The Ladbrokes Premiership post-split fixtures are as follows", they then posted an image with games including Celtic vs Rangers on April 29, which took place last year.

The SPFL quickly deleted the tweet before sending out the correct fixtures and naturally, Scottish football fans let them know they had noticed it.

And in response to a tweet highlighting their error, the SPFL replied: "We know we know we know we know we know we know we know we know"

Not that it stopped fans having a go at them on Twitter.
