All this talk of a suffering economy is fine, but research company IDC has still just published a report saying that the small to medium enterprise (SME) will account for more IT spend than any other sector. They'll be putting up 53 per cent of the money invested in technology, which is a bit of a surprise - if the economy's flagging, where's this cash going to come from?
This growth will continue until 2009, if IDC is right.
