Spencer Ratter leaving Oklahoma, enters transfer portal

Spencer Rattler was the preseason favorite for the Heisman Trophy. The quarterback was displaced by freshman Caleb Williams.

Now, Rattler is going to continue his college career outside of Norman, Oklahoma, as he has entered the transfer portal.

Another day, another loss for Oklahoma. That makes three in a row.

First, the Sooners fell to Oklahoma State on Saturday. Then, Head Coach Lincoln Riley opted to go move on to USC on Sunday. And now, on Monday, their starting QB at the beginning of the 2021 season will take his talents elsewhere.

Rattler played in 23 games overall for OU from 2019-2021. He threw for 4,585 yards and 40 touchdowns against 12 interceptions.
