Speke Hall to host magical Alice in Wonderland-inspired outdoor theatre show

This summer, families can take a trip down the rabbit hole at Speke Hall as it hosts an Alice in Wonderland-inspired outdoor theatre show.

The performance will take over Speke Hall ’s gardens on August 18, giving visitors the chance to encounter a whole host of fantastical characters.

The Magic of Wonderland show will adapt Lewis Carroll’s much-loved children’s book, enchanting guests with the ridiculous riddles and magical creatures they love so much.

Adults and children will be "taken on a thrilling journey to follow a young girl learning to become the person she wants to be".

The outdoor performance will be set against the backdrop of Speke Hall’s colourful gardens, and families can take along picnics, blankets and fold-out chairs to watch the show.

Tickets cost £10 per adult, £7 per child and £3 for under 2s and can be purchased online via www.nationaltrust.org.uk .
