Speedy Freight vows to create 50 new jobs in West Midlands

A courier company is aiming to create 50 new jobs in the West Midlands.

Martin Andrews is the new franchisee of Speedy Freight's branch covering the South Staffordshire, Walsall and Wolverhampton areas.

Based in Cannock, Speedy Freight, which is the courier division of renowned haulage firm Eddie Stobart, works with clients in sectors such as wholesalers, legal, manufacturing and construction.

As part of his initial recruitment drive, Mr Andrews is looking to recruit up to 50 owner-drivers.

Mr Andrews, who is originally from Manchester, has more than 25 years of experience in automotive roles,

He said: "I'm excited to see what we can accomplish with my new team in 2021."
