A speeding Range Rover driver has been found guilty of causing the death of a pensioner during a crash in Oldham.
Naveed Patel, 32, was convicted of causing the death of 76-year-old David Eyre, by careless driving.
Patel had been driving at 59mph in a 40mph zone seconds prior to the collision.

He crashed into Mr Eyre's car, as the victim was turning right onto Broadway in Royton.
In a police interview after the crash, Patel blamed Mr Eyre.
At his trial, he denied being responsible for the crash.
He will learn his fate on September 24.
The maximum sentence for causing death by careless driving is five years in jail.
Mr Eyre, a retired sales manager, died two days after the collision in February 2019.
He had suffered a serious brain injury.
A trial at Minshull Street Crown Court heard that Mr Eyre had been turning out of Hilbre Avenue onto Broadway when the crash occurred, at about 11.35am on Friday, February 15.

Data collected from Patel's Range Rover showed he had been travelling at 59mph five seconds before impact, and at 48mph at the moment of collision.
The speed limit for that section of the road was 40mph.
A nearby workman told of hearing a huge bang after impact.
"There was a really loud bang, it was unbelievable," said a United Utilities employee who had been working nearby.
"I have never heard anything like it before."
Mr Eyre was rushed to hospital, but he passed away.
A post-mortem examination was not ordered, as it was not initially known that Patel had been speeding.
Patel said Mr Eyre had made an 'unusual' manoeuvre, and said he had been paying attention to the road.
Jurors heard emergency responders initially believed Mr Eyre may have suffered a 'medical episode' in the incident.
He had previously suffered health problems, but his wife said he had been 'absolutely fine' on a recent holiday.
An accident and emergency doctor said Mr Eyre's traumatic brain injury was consistent with a road traffic collision.
"The Crown's case is that Mr Patel's excessive speed and his failure to assess the risks inherent in that stretch of road amounted to careless driving, and contributed to the death of Mr Eyre," prosecutor Rob Hall said.
Patel, of Waterslea Drive, Bolton, was given bail prior to the sentencing hearing next month.
