Work has started on a Kilmarnock restaurant a year after it closed for good.
The Scot's Bonnet shut down along with the rest of the UK during the nationwide lockdown in March 2020.
Greene King announced in July that the family-friendly pub and eaterie would not reopen as the country eased from tough restrictions.
Bosses confirmed that the Queen's Drive pub had been up for sale since June 2019 and that last summer the transaction was due to be completed.
But in recent weeks, a perimeter fence has been erected and a construction firm has moved on to the site.

Edinburgh-based commercial interiors fit-out firm Michael Philip are currently operating out of the venue.
Workers appear to be altering parts of the interior and exterior of the venue.
No confirmation has been given as to what sort of business has taken charge of the location but speculation suggests it will be a restaurant of some sort or a buffet.
