Chris Evans drops huge hint that Meghan Markle has already had royal baby

There is mounting speculation that Meghan Markle has given birth.

Virgin breakfast DJ Chris Evans gave a hint that the royal baby has arrived after Meghan and Prince Harry announced they would be celebrating the birth privately.

Evans told listeners on Wednesday (May 1) that he "knows" something about the birth, WalesOnline reports.

On his breakfast show, he said "I'm not sure what I know, but I think I know something."

He hinted that the fact the Queen visited the couple at their new home in Frogmore Cottage in Windsor was not to see their new home, but to meet the new arrival.

He said: "I'm just saying, I'm just putting it out there, right? The Queen has been to see Meghan and Harry."

"Now, she doesn't do that. That's all I'm saying. The Queen has been to see them. Now, that doesn't happen."

The Duchess of Sussex had said her due date was the end of April or early May, but royal fans are still awaiting an update.

Prince Harry was spotted at the London Marathon despite claims it was Meghan Markle's due date.

The royal couple have said they will only announce news of the birth once they have had time to celebrate together as a new family.

Meghan and Harry, who married in May 2018, have already announced they are breaking with tradition by not posing with their baby hours after the birth.

Married to a princess, he liberated Norway and educated spies. Now, at 100 years old, meet Charles Courtenay Lloyd, the Bristol boy with an amazing story to tell

That is in contrast to Kate Middleton and Prince William, who showed off Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis on the steps of St Mary's Hospital's Lindo Wing after they each arrived.

Their statement said: "Their Royal Highnesses have taken a personal decision to keep the plans around the arrival of their baby private.

"The Duke and Duchess look forward to sharing the exciting news with everyone once they have had an opportunity to celebrate privately as a new family."

Buckingham Palace has also had to deny that its website accidentally leaked potential baby names.

Some fans discovered when they typed potential baby names, such as 'Prince Arthur' into the URL of the palace website, royal.uk, they were sent back to the site's main page, but when they typed in other names, such as 'Princess Grace' they got a "Page Not Found" message.
