Liverpool have arrived at their pre-season training camp in Austria, and already Jurgen Klopp is getting some attention.
The Reds were pictured arriving at their training base on the outskirts of Salzburg on Sunday night, as they began their pre-season preparations for the new season.
The likes of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Joe Gomez and a host of other players were pictured arriving at the base.
On Monday afternoon, the club also confirmed they will have four pre-season fixtures during their stay in Austria, with one being against local side FC Wacker Innsbruck while the other three are against German opposition.
The club have been posting photos of the players and Klopp as they take part in their first sessions.
One post saw Liverpool have a photo of Klopp smiling, with the caption: “Happy to be back, boss?”
Fans were quick to point out that Klopp was not wearing his glasses in the photo, and one retail company to take notice.
Opticians company Specsavers posted a funny reply to Liverpool’s post, saying: “You're missing something…” accompanied by the glasses emoji.
Liverpool get their Premier League campaign underway on August 14, with a trip to newly-promoted Norwich City on the agenda for Klopp and his players.
