Youngsters at a Paisley musical were treated to a special musical visit as part of their St Andrew's Day celebrations.
Children who attend the Diane Mitchell Music School were delighted to welcome Diane's daughter Rebekah Mitchell and Gary Blair - both who are professional accordionists.
Gary plays accordion internationally and travels the world playing the instrument, while Rebekah trained at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in Glasgow and now teaches at Ardrossan Academy.
The music pupils who range from ten months old to secondary school age, have been learning all about Scottish music and instruments in the lead up to the national holiday on November 30.
So teacher Diane thought it would be a great experience for the young musicians to hear the instrument which is commonly featured in many famous Scottish songs.

She told the Express: "The children really enjoyed it.
"Gary and Rebekah visited all of our classes which range from tots up to high school age and they all really enjoyed seeing and hearing them play the accordion.
"We had been using Scotland as a theme in our lessons for a few weeks and thought it would be a valuable experience for the children.
"They got the chance to talk to them and ask questions about it too which was fantastic."
