Liverpool have confirmed the signing of Fabio Carvalho on a long-term contract from Fulham.
Carvalho will officially become a Reds player when the transfer window opens on July 1 having already signed a pre-agreement to move to Anfield.
Liverpool have negotiated a £5million fee with Fulham, who were due compensation despite the 19-year-old attacking midfielder being, out of contract at the end of the season. The agreement also includes add-ons, which could bump the final cost up by a further £2.7m along with a 20% sell-on clause.

Even though Carvalho is still at a young age, the expectation is that he will be part of Jurgen Klopp's first-team squad for next season. The Portugal Under-21s international will link up with his new team-mates in pre-season training and hope to stake a claim to impress those at the AXA Training Centre in Kirkby.
Carvalho’s final season at Fulham saw him play a key role in helping the club secure automatic promotion to the Premier League. He scored 11 goals and provided eight assists as the Cottagers won the Championship.
