The mum-of-four, who had a home birth at their 'Pickle Cottage', shared an adorable photo of the newborn to Instagram, laying in a blush babygrow alongside a pink rose.

She wrote: "Rose Opal Esmè Solomon-Swash.

"Our beautiful flower - Our precious jewel - who is ever loved.

"It’s been the most magical week. We love you to the moon and back our little Rose.

"We feel so so lucky to have you here… Thank you all for your loveliness, your kindness and just being there at 3am for a chat it’s been the best. Love you all".

In today's episode of Loose Women, presenter Ruth also announced the news to ITV viewers, and revealed the significance of the baby girl's middle name.

She said: "We've got some lovely Loose Women news today because Stacey and Joe have finally announced the name of their week-old baby girl.

"Her middle name Opal has got special significance actually for Stacey and Joe because Opal is Stacey's birthstone, and Rose was actually born on Stacey's birthday, so that's now her birthday.

"And then Stacey's engagement ring has got two Australian Opals because that's where she and Joe met on I'm A Celebrity."

Stacey has previously explained the importance of Opal in her engagement ring, saying: "Opal is my birthstone and Australia is where we fell in love. It gives me goosebumps every time I look at them."

Her latest Instagram snap has had over a million likes and almost 25k comments, with fans gushing over their chosen name.

One responded: "Beautiful baby girl", while another penned: "What a beautiful name [love heart eyes emoji] beautiful name for a beautiful girl".

A third wrote: "A beautiful name [rose emoji]" and another said: "She's beautiful, gorgeous name".
