A MAJOR UK pop star has been announced as a special guest for Chappell Roan’s two upcoming sold-out shows in Scotland.
The American singer, who shot to fame last year with songs like Pink Pony Club and Hot to Go, will be taking to the stage as part of Edinburgh Summer Sessions at the Royal Highland Showgrounds on August 26 and August 27.
Fresh from the release of her latest single The Subway, Chappell Roan's two shows in the Scottish capital will mark her biggest gigs in the country to date, following her sold-out performance at Glasgow’s O2 Academy last year.
Organisers have now announced that JADE, from Little Mix, will be a special guest on the line-up.
The English singer has topped the UK charts since launching her solo career with hit single Angel Of My Dreams.

The Little Mix star’s Edinburgh performance comes after she played at this year’s TRNSMT festival.
JADE is also due to appear at her own sold-out headline show at the O2 Academy in Glasgow in October.
Roan revealed earlier this week her gig in Edinburgh this month is the one she’s “most excited for” in a heartfelt letter to a fan.
The 27-year-old wrote to one Scottish fan: “I’m so excited to see you in Edinburgh. It’s the show I’m most excited for.”
