Alright, look. Y’all know me. Y’all know Yeezy isn’t my favorite. And neither is Kanye West. You’ve seen my Yeezus review my now, certainly.
Let’s just say Ye isn’t…my vibe.
And neither is the 700 MNVN. Don’t get me wrong. I do like the 700 as a sneaker. It’s a really good shoe and checks every box you could possibly want it to. But the MNVN is so totally different than any 700 we’re used to.
It takes the original 700 silhouette and scales it back a bit with a different material on the upper as opposed to the high quality materials we’re used to.
Is it as good? No. But it is far more necessary. And that’s why, even if this isn’t my favorite shoe, I have to respect it.
