Spare boys a media circus, learn instead

Life will likely not quickly return to normal for the 12 lost boys and their coach of the Wild Boars football team. (Photo via Facebook)

Tham Luang cave in Chiang Rai may be labyrinthine and pitch black but there is light at the end of the tunnel for the 12 boys who spent their 13th night there Thursday.

In the inky darkness on Monday night, the under-16 footballers and their coach had huddled on a slippery rock ledge for a 10th day, trying to stay above the fast-flowing water in the partially flooded cave to stay alive.

Anchalee Kongrut writes about the environment in the Life section, Bangkok Post.
