Spank! at Edinburgh Fringe: Reginald D Hunter tops bill on Tuesday night with tickets still on-sale

Reginald D Hunter tops the bill at legendary comedy and cabaret night Spank! later today.

X-rated shows, which start at midnight and are famous for going on for around three hours, have been selling out at the Festival Fringe for years (16 of them to be precise) – and they have become known for their lively, yet friendly, party atmosphere.

And it's back again this year with performances taking place at the Underbelly from today (6 August) right through to 25 August with a whole host of fantastic comedians, talented performers and hilarious hosts keeping audiences entertained.

Different acts will perform each night throughout the Festival with Fancesco De Carlo, Kate Lucas and John Hastings among those lined up for later this week.

On hosting duties tonight (Tuesday) are James Loveridge and Evan De'mar'eh and there will be performances from Milo McCabe, Zach and Viggo, Frizz Frizzle, Matt Stellingwerf, Cally Beaton and Mamoun Elagab, in addition to headliner Reginald D Hunter.

Hunter is an Edinburgh Fringe favourite and has three times been nominated for the Perrier Award – in 2002, 2003 and 2004.

He's also a familiar face on UK television having regularly starred on shows such as 8 Out of 10 Cats, Have I Got News for You, QI and Live at the Apollo.

Tickets cost £15.50 and they are still available for tonight at the time of writing. To get involved, click here .

Shows are for those aged 18 and over with nudity, strong language and swearing expected.
