Spanish woman 'murders man and hides body in ice-cream shop freezer'

A Spanish woman has shocked police officers by walking into a local police station to allegedly confess a murder.

The 44-year-old woman reportedly appeared “intoxicated” when she entered the police station in the Spanish town of Dos Hermanas, near Seville, with her siblings, The Local reports.

The woman, who has not been formally identified by police, told officers she had killed a man and stuffed his body into a freezer in a local ice-cream shop, according to Europa Press.

Officers were reportedly shocked when they investigated the woman’s claims and found them to be true, discovering the body of a 66-year-old man in the freezer of the Heladeria Otono shop.

The woman has been arrested and charged with murder.

The man had been missing for around 24 hours. He was married with five children and is not believed to have known the woman or to have had any familial connection with her.
