Spanish Princess Leonor was seen waving off her parents King Felipe and Queen Letizia as she flew off to start college in the UK.
The emotional scenes were caught on camera as the 15-year-old got ready to board her flight in Madrid.
The princess, who is the heir to the Spanish throne, was seen hugging her father, mother and 14-year-old sister Sofia goodbye as they all wore face masks.
The teenager will spend the next two years studying at the UWC Atlantic College in Llantwit Major, Wales, which has been dubbed the 'Hippie Hogwarts'.
Leonor's will study for her International Baccalaureate at a cost of £67,000, alongside Princess Alexia, the second child of King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of The Netherlands.


UWC Atlantic College is set in the 12th century St Donat's Castle on the southern Welsh coast and campus facilities include a library, woodland, an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, and classrooms within historic buildings.
Students are offered activities and subjects like Tai Chi, leadership and Tibetan literature alongside traditional classes.
It was founded in 1962 by German educationalist Kurt Hahn, who also set up Gordonstoun boarding school in Scotland, where Prince Charles attended,
Notable alumni include King Willem-Alexander and Princess Raiyah bint Al-Hussein of Jordan.
Princess Elisabeth of Belgium, 19, also graduated from the college in May 2020.
