A Supreme Court judge in Spain has dropped the extradition requests for six Catalan separatist politicians wanted on rebellion charges.
The former Catalan president, Carles Puigdemont, is one of the six.
He was facing the prospect of being deported from Germany for the alleged misuse of public funds — a charge linked to his organisation of an independence referendum that was banned by the Spanish Central Government.
