Spanish City to host a massive Easter funfair and children will get free Easter eggs

You'll soon be able to enjoy all the fun of the fair at Spanish City as Whitley Bay plays host to a massive family funfair.

Taking place on The Links from Tuesday, April 16 - Monday, April 22 (Easter Monday), the Easter funfair will feature loads of different rides including rides dodgems, waltzers, family roller coasters, ghost train, twister, jumping frogs and much more.

There will also be hook a duck stalls, giant bungee trampolines and all smaller rides for children.

The Spanish City Family Funfair will be open at The Links from 10am - 6pm daily and there's an extra incentive to go along on Easter Sunday as children will receive free Easter eggs and free face painting.

Entry will be free but there will be charges for individual rides.

Spanish City is preparing for a busy spring and summer with the news that it will host a huge Feast By The Sea festival with giant yurts, stretch tents, street food trucks, bars and stalls arriving on site to provide visitors with a different taste of the best street food available in the UK.

It will run over three different weekends - July 20 and 21, August 10 and 11 and September 7 and 8.

All will open from 11am until 10pm on Saturday and from 11am to 7pm on Sunday. Admission is free.
