Spandau Ballet legend Martin Kemp to DJ at 80s party in Houghton-le-Spring

Prepare for a solid 'gold' night of 80s classics next year when Spamdau Ballet legend Martin Kemp takes to the decks in a rather unlikely location.

Martin and his bandmates were without doubt one of the biggest acts of the 90s thanks to hits like True,To Cut A Long Story Short, Through the Barricade and of course Gold.

And then of course Martin had millions tuning in week after week as he became one of Eastenders' most famous bad guys Steve Owen.

Well it turns out he's a rather mean DJ too and has been selling out venues all over the country with his 80s parties.

Martin, who also famously played Steve Owen in Eastenders and has also been in the Celebrity Big Brother house, will arrive at Rainton Meadows in Houghton-le-Spring on Friday, May 15 2020 at the end of a string of UK tour dates which will also take him to the likes of Whitby, Doncaster and Blackburn.

Tickets, costing £20.25, are on sale now online from Seetickets.

Tickets can also be booked by ringing 01472 349222 from 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday.
