Spain U21 star Dani Olmo responds amid Man Utd and Tottenham transfer rumours

Dani Olmo has issued an update on his future after the Spanish star was linked with a move to either Manchester United or Tottenham .

The 21-year-old has caught the eye of some of Europe's top clubs after impressing for his country as they won European Under-21 Championships in Italy.

The winger certainly fits the bill for United as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer aims to rebuild his squad with talented youngsters, while Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino has always shown a talent for helping potential stars blossom.

With Olmo currently turning out for Dinamo Zagreb, the Croatians could opt to cash in on their young player this summer with a number of Europe's top clubs circling.

But the 21-year-old himself insisted in an interview with Croatian publication T-Portal that he was unaware of such speculation and added he only wanted to play for a club where he would feature regularly.

“Honestly, I know absolutely nothing about it. It’s for my manager Andy Bara and my dad. However, I’m not burdened by this," said Olmo.

“It's very simple – I want a club where I will play. I am still young and for me, it is most important that I have minutes.”

The 21-year-old made a shock switch to join Dinamo in 2014 as a 16-year-old having previously spent time in Barcelona's academy.

The winger has since become a key player for the Croatian side and was named as the First League's best player in 2018.

Olmo has enjoyed a trophy-laden spell in the Croatian capital, helping Dinamo to seven domestic trophies since his arrival five years ago.

The youngster has scored 26 goals in 102 games in all competitions for Dinamo and has also impressed when on duty for Spain's under-21s.

That form has alerted some of Europe's top sides to his talent, with many willing to pay the rumoured £22m to sign him.
