Tourists travelling to parts of Spain are being warned they could face disruption to their holidays due to ongoing issues.
While the holiday hotspot remains open to open to UK citizens wanting a getaway - and the Foreign Office now allows non-essential travel to the country - there are still travel warnings to be aware of.
While Covid-19 remains in issue, these alerts relate to a volcanic eruption and sharks sightings.
In the Canary Islands, La Palma airport closed on Thursday night - for the second time - as a result of a huge cloud of ash spewing from a volcanic eruption that began on September 19, reports the Daily Record.
A build-up of ash and dust on the runway forced local authorities to ground flights on Thursday, according to air traffic operator AENA.
Other airports in the emain open and the ash cloud is unlikely to pose any wider risks to air travel for now, the spokesperson said.
Elsewhere in Spain, swimmers have been banned from entering the water at a beach on the on the Costa Blanca, following the sighting of a shark.
The shark was spotted off the shore of the Playa del Portet beach in Teulada, according to the Mirror.
The area is popular with British tourists and the warning will remain until further notice.
The ban came into force over the weekend and swimming has been banned on beaches in the municipality between Valencia and Alicante.
