The rules and entry requirements in Spain have changed as the summer holiday season kicks off in earnest.
Spain has been gradually easing rules for travellers, with scores of sun-starved Brits already flocking to the country.
A major change last month saw Spanish authorities open its borders to unvaccinated non-EU travellers for the first time since the start of the pandemic.
However, the country's hasn't completely scrapped its requirements - tourists will have to come prepared.
Depending on vaccination status, visitors will need to show proof of being vaccinated, a negative Covid test, or proof of recovery from the virus.
Travellers could be subject to additional checks at the point of entry, including a temperature check, visual health assessment, or testing on arrival.
Here's a rundown of Spain's current entry requirements, which vary by age and vaccination status.

You'll need to show valid proof for one of the following if you are a tourist to Spain:
Being fully vaccinated: your vaccination status must meet the Spanish authorities' validity period requirements
A negative Covid test: either a PCR taken within 72 hours prior to departure, or an antigen test taken within 24 hours prior to departure
Having recovered from Covid in the last six months: you can also use a medical certificate or recovery record to prove your Covid status on entry to Spain
Requirements for people who aren't fully vaccinated
Those who haven't been vaccinated for Covid can now enter Spain, but must present one of the following:
- Documentation certifying a negative Covid test result taken within 72 hours of entering Spain if using a Covid-19 nucleic acid amplification test - NAAT (PCR or similar), or 24 hours if using an antigen (rapid) test.
- Proof of having recovered from Covid-19 in the last six months. You can also use a medical certificate or recovery record to prove your Covid status on entry to Spain.
You will also be required to complete Spain's Travel Health Control form no more than 48 hours before travel.
