Spain campsite isolated after baby tests positive for coronavirus

A baby has tested positive for coronavirus at a campsite in Spain.

Parts of the site in Sant Joan d'Alacant in Alicante have been closed off to prevent the virus from spreading.

Health authorities have been speaking to the family about the procedures they will need to follow.

It is not yet known whether anyone else has become infected at the campsite but according to local media the situation is "under control".

Health officials closed the Talai Mendi campsite in Basque Country after detecting two positive guests.

Police were called in to prevent anyone from entering or leaving without permission resulting in around 250 tourists being trapped inside. It was eventually reopened.
