Police called as couple's spa hotel stay erupts into angry row with staff
Police were called after a couple's plans for a relaxing spa hotel stay turned into an angry row with staff.
Sarah Dalton and her partner Phil Crelan were left disappointed during their recent stay at The Suites Hotel & Spa Knowsley, which Sarah had booked as a Christmas present.
The couple, from Bootle, said a number of promised facilities were closed to them when they arrived at the hotel - including the gym and jacuzzi - which they had been looking forward to using.

The problems continued as they found no kettle or iron in their room - as well as a broken hairdryer.

Boy, 11, 'punched in the face' by man
A schoolboy was reportedly punched in the face by a man.
Officers were called at around 8.50pm on Sunday, January 23 to a report of an assault.
The spokesperson for the force said: "At around 8.50pm on Sunday, January 23 officers were called to a report of an assault in St Helens.
"It was reported that a man shouted at a young boy on Eaves lane and assaulted him."

Taxi passengers injured in crash with Range Rover
Emergency services rushed to the scene following a crash involving a private hire taxi.
Police were called to Crosby Road South in Seaforth at 10.10am today after a crash involving a Ford Focus private hire taxi and a Range Rover.
